Vote On or By Primary Election Day, June 10th

Primary Election Day is June 10th, 2025. You can vote in person at your polling place, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Accommodations will be made for voters with disabilities.

NOTE: Vote-by-mail ballots CANNOT be returned to your polling place for this election. However, if you're registered to vote by mail but prefer to vote in person on Election Day instead, you can cast a provisional ballot.

Early voting for the primary is 6 days, Tuesday, June 3, 2025 – Sunday, June 8, 2025. Locations are open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, and 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday. Find your In-Person Early Voting Location →

Plan to Vote-by-Mail?

There are three ways to return your mail-in-ballot once you have completed it. We suggest you return it in a drop box or in-person at the Bergen County Board of Elections Office by 8:00 pm to ensure it's counted.

  1. Secure Ballot Drop Box: Place it in one of your county’s secure ballot drop boxes by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Secure Ballot Drop Box location. Find your Vote-by-Mail Ballot Dropbox Location →

  2. Board of Elections Office: Deliver it in person to your county’s Board of Elections Office at One Bergen County Plaza • 3rd Floor, Rm 310 • Hackensack, NJ 07601 by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

  3. Mail: It must be postmarked on or before 8:00 p.m. Election Day and be received by your county’s Board of Elections on or before 6 days after Election Day.
