Chris has been a member of the General Assembly since 2018, serving as Chair of the Science, Innovation and Technology Committee and was previously the Deputy Majority Leader.
A proud first-generation Irish-American, Chris was born and raised in Bergenfield, where he went on to become one of the youngest council members in Bergen County. Serving as both council president and finance chair, Chris fought for middle-class taxpayers by maintaining services while delivering reduced debt and responsible budgets under the tax cap. During his time in office, the borough was also recognized as one of New Jersey’s safest communities and best communities to raise children. He and his wife are happy to now be raising their son in town.
